Mary Morrissey: a shameless embezzler’s “success coaching” scam, rip-off, fraud, con game “platinum” program is certainly a steal at only $42,000

Untitled3“Mary Morrissey”—a wolf in sheep’s clothing

Mary Morrissey, a self-styled “success coach,” is actually a shameless embezzler under court orders to repay $10.7 million she embezzled from people who believed in her and trusted her.

Read the State of Oregon’s judgment against Mary Morrissey:

By their fruits ye shall know them . . .

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Source: Matthew 7:15-20 (KJV)

Shameless con artist at work.

Mary Morrissey, to avoid prison, agreed to repay $10.7 million after a multi-million dollar embezzlement scandal in 2004-2005. Here’s what happened . . .

  • Mary Morrissey and her husband solicited loans for over $10.7 million from their Center’s members.
  • Mary Morrissey’s husband, Edward Morrissey, was sentenced to serve prison time for laundering money and using funds from the Center for personal expenses.
  • Mary Morrissey is not serving prison time but is required to pay back $10.7 million of loans to congregants.
  • Mary Morrissey is “far behind schedule in repaying the $10.7 million.”
  • Ed and Mary Morrissey are both barred forever from selling securities and from serving as an officer of any non-profit or charitable organization.
  • People who loaned money said that it was Mary who was personally was in charge of it all.
  • The actions of Mary Morrissey and her former husband badly hurt an entire community in Oregon. She drained the life, money and emotion out of a community that believed in HER.
  • How can anyone trust her or believe in her when she has accumulated a $10.7 million debt due to embezzlement?

Has she paid back the $10.7 million she embezzled?

Ex-church leader, Mary Morrissey, falls far behind schedule in repaying $10.7 million

These are facts and those who were fleeced of $10.7 million know so. There is a reason Mary moved out of the State of Oregon and relocated in Southern California. There is a reason Mary is permanently prohibited from running any charity or nonprofit organization.

Read what people have posted online about Mary Morrissey:

  1. I am angry when people like Mary, who have a beautiful message to share, succumb to the lure of the dollar.
  2. The Bible speaks of how the LOVE of MONEY is destructive. 1 Timothy 6:9-10 “But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the LOVE of Money is a root of all sorts of evil and SOME longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many a pang.”
  3. Funny how Mary preached non-stop about not being a victim, and then people just accept her nonsense story that she was victimized by her husband.
  4. Word is already out. People who get burned know what happened. Unfortunately, there are people out there who do not know what happened in Oregon, or who turn a blind eye and believe Mary’s nonsense story that it was all her husband’s fault.
  5. Of course, after her husband took the fall for her, they divorced.
  6. There is a reason Mary relocated to Southern California and got out of the state of Oregon…. There is a reason Mary is permanently prohibited from running a nonprofit organization, and her church is structured as a for-profit organization.
  7. If Mary Morrissey “success formula” is so fool-proof then she should be rolling in the dough and should have already paid off her debts. Why is she so far behind schedule in repaying her $10.7 debts?
  8. Mary Morrissey  is a corrupt, sociopathic, scam artist, a fraud, a liar and a cheat, willing to selfishly betray an entire community who believed in her and trusted her. For what? Money.
  9. Beware of people who lure you in by their charm and charisma.
  10. Mike Smith I worked at Living Enrichment Center. Most of us who worked there were not surprised when this happened, and we saw the writing on the wall 10 years before it did happened. There were a lot of wonderful people who were true spiritual seekers at the church. But behind the scenes, the corruption was unbelievable. If you go back even further, you find that the church was founded on the Boggs family farm in Scholls, Oregon, which had a migrant camp called “Campo Azul” — which was one of the most heavily fined migrant camps in the state because it did not meet state standards. Mary Manin Boggs and her family lived in wealth, while the Mexican people who worked on their farm lived in a Third World conditions. If you don’t believe me, simply Google the terms “Oregon Campo Azul.”
  11. Her husband “fell on the sword” for her. Meaning, he took all the blame. It was a marketing decision they made. I worked at this church, and I aided the state of Oregon in the subsequent investigation. There was enough evidence to convict her, and they both admitted that some of the church money was used for her personal expenses. As one former member of the congregation stated, it was Mary who solicited loans from the congregation and the loans were made out to her. She was aware of and participated in what was going on.
  12. She is a sociopath. It’s sad people don’t truly know. She’s a clinical study to say the least. . . . That’s basically what everyone who worked with her has said. People who don’t believe this are simply people who didn’t work with her. Some things you have to see firsthand to believe.
  13. If what she teaches is pure spiritual principles, then why hasn’t she become “prosperous” enough to repay the $10.7 million she owes her former congregation members, and why did she go into debt in the first place? Are you willing to believe that a few years after she was investigated by the State of Oregon and came close to doing prison herself, suddenly she has been transformed? From bankruptcy, investigation, and almost prison, to “pure spiritual principles”?
  14. She may be a spiritual leader but when she took money and avoided prison, she should pay the price…she needs to give that money back…and now she’s not running a church…she’s running a for-profit coaching business. Yeah, right. Hey coach Mary, teach us how to scam innocent victims into giving us their hard-earned money.
  15. A minister should keep her word and pay back her debt to her parishioners. Let’s be honest about their involvement in a $10.7 million embezzlement case.
  16. “Money-sucking charlatan” is exactly what Mary Morrissey IS.
  17. Just as you wish me peace with dealing with having been badly hurt by Mary Morrissey and her former husband’s embezzlement of their former church, I wish you peace in coming to terms with the fact that you are inspired by the work of someone who badly hurt an entire spiritual community in Oregon.
  18. The problem with Morrissey’s program is it’s un-testable. It can be simply claimed that if you didn’t get what you wanted then you simply didn’t want it hard enough. Fool-proof!
  19. As one attendee told me, “She is a walking, talking pyramid scheme.” One attendee told me about the time she attended a workshop and saw Bob Proctor strutting around on stage in his Armani suit and almost yelling at the audience about how they had better tithe and pay some exorbitant amount (something like $72,000) for Mary’s “next level” class — which promised to have the “real” secrets to wealth.
  20. I apologize for my language but I’ve lost a ton of money to these people and I’m not to happy about it.
  21. There’s even a Mary Morrissey “Survivor’s” Support Group Forum with 299 registered members who were scammed by Mary Morrissey when she embezzled $10.7 million from her Living Enrichment Center:
